GRANT OF ADVANCE INCREMENTS ON ACQUIRING/ POSSESSING HIGHER TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:-          GRANT OF ADVANCE INCREMENTS ON ACQUIRING/
POSSESSING HIGHER TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION.......
The undersigned is directed to refer to Finance Division's clarification made to Auditor General of Pakistan vide letter No.F.1(48)1mp/94-1141 dated 22-01-1997 (copy enclosed) and to state that in pursuance of the Supreme Court of Pakistan's order passed in civil petition No.1409 of 2011 and FST's order dated 15-06-2011 passed in appeal No.59(R)CS/2011, it has been decided that the advance increments allowed under Finance Division's O.M. No. F.1/7/Imp-II/87,   dated   01-07-1987      read     with O.M.No.F.1(12)-Imp-11/91, dated 29-06-1991 are admissible prior to 01-12-2001 on acquiring/possessing higher technical as well as non-technical qualification irrespective of the fact whether the employee concerned is employed against a technical post or a non-technical post.
2.                     This decision will take effect from the date the advance increments were allowed.

CSS Competitive Examination-2015

The Federal Public Service Commission has issued Public Notice for the Competitive Examination (CSS) 2015, for filling up of posts in BPS-17 of different Occupational Groups in Federal Government which is going to be held with effect from 14.02.2015. The applications would be submitted online during the period from 01.10.2014 to 31.10.2014. The hard copy of application applied online would be submitted to Commission as per procedure set in Rule-7 of CSS CE Rule 2015.

Relief measures for government employees, pensioners and labor announced in Budget 2014-15

The following measures are announced: 

(a)      A 10% ad-hoc relief will be allowed to all federal government employees with effect from 1st July 2014;

(b)     A 20% increase will be allowed to those employees in Grade-1 to 15 drawing fixed medical allowance of Rs.1000 per month;

(c)      A 5% increase will be allowed in conveyance allowance to those employees working in Grade-1 to 15;

(d)     The post of superintendent is being upgraded from Grade-16 to Grade-17;

(e)      One pre-mature increment will be allowed to employees of Grade-1 to 4.

(f)      For welfare of the labor class, and in line with the increase in pay of government employees, the minimum wage rate is also being increased from Rs.10,000 to Rs.12,000. 



Minimum pension Rs.6000 and a 10% increase in pension will also be allowed to all retired federal government employees.
