GRANT OF BPS-17 TO SUPERINTENDENT (BPS-16)
With the approval of the competent authority, the notification for grant of time scale BPS-17 to Superintendents (BPS-16) has been issued. consequently, the accounts office was consulted for fixation of pay in BPS-17 with effect from 01.12.2014 after award of annual increment in BPS-16 in accordance with FR-23. The request for grant of annual increment in BPS-16 on 01.12.2014 has been turned down as grant of higher time scale is not considered to be considered as promotion therefore, FR-23 is not applicable in this case.
Hence
no increment in BPS-16 nor in BPS-17

Subject: Ban
on Recruitment Process in Federal Ministries/Divisions/ Autonomous Bodies/
Corporations.
The
undersigned is directed to refer to this Division's O.M. of even number dated
20-06-2013 and subsequent clarifications issued from time to time on the
subject and to state that the Federal Government is pleased to lift the ban
on recruitment in all Government Ministries/ Divisions/Autonomous bodies and
other organizations. Separate guidelines will be issued in this regard by the
Cabinet Secretariat/Establishment Division.
2. The Ministries/Divisions
are requested to bring the above decision of the Federal Government to the
notice of all Departments/Autonomous bodies and other organizations under
their administrative control.
