GRANT OF BPS-17 TO SUPERINTENDENT (BPS-16)

With the approval of the competent authority, the notification for grant of time scale BPS-17 to Superintendents (BPS-16) has been issued. consequently, the accounts office was consulted for fixation of pay in BPS-17 with effect from 01.12.2014 after award of annual increment in BPS-16 in accordance with FR-23. The request for grant of annual increment in BPS-16 on 01.12.2014 has been turned down as grant of higher time scale is not considered to be considered as promotion therefore, FR-23 is not applicable in this case. 

Hence no increment in BPS-16 nor in BPS-17

Subject: -	UP-GRADATION OF THE POSTS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANT AND FIELD ENUMBERATOR FROM BS-11 TO BS-14
The undersigned is directed to refer to subject cited above and to convey the approval of Finance Division to the up-gradation of the posts of Technical Assistant and Field Enumerator from BS-n to BS-14 in all the Ministries/Divisions/Departments of Federal Government as per recommendations of Establishment Division's made vide O.M. No. 8/34/2011-R-I, dated 23rd September, 2014 subject to the following conditions:- (i)            Up-gradation of posts of Technical Assistant and Field Enumerator from BS-11 to BS-14 by enhancing the prescribed educational qualification for post to Graduate with two years experience in the relevant field, subject to concurrence of the Finance Division, amendment in the Recruitment Rules and filling up the upgraded posts in the manner prescribed in this Division's D.O. letter dated 31-12-2008 in all the Federal Ministries/Divisions/ Departments.
