Separate guidelines will be issued in this regard by the Cabinet Secretariat/Establishment Division. 2.                     The Ministries/Divisions are requested to bring the above decision of the Federal Government to the notice of all Departments/Autonomous bodies and other organizations under their administrative control. Subject: -	UP-GRADATION OF THE POSTS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANT AND FIELD ENUMBERATOR FROM BS-11 TO BS-14
The undersigned is directed to refer to subject cited above and to convey the approval of Finance Division to the up-gradation of the posts of Technical Assistant and Field Enumerator from BS-n to BS-14 in all the Ministries/Divisions/Departments of Federal Government as per recommendations of Establishment Division's made vide O.M. No. 8/34/2011-R-I, dated 23rd September, 2014 subject to the following conditions:- (i)            Up-gradation of posts of Technical Assistant and Field Enumerator from BS-11 to BS-14 by enhancing the prescribed educational qualification for post to Graduate with two years experience in the relevant field, subject to concurrence of the Finance Division, amendment in the Recruitment Rules and filling up the upgraded posts in the manner prescribed in this Division's D.O. letter dated 31-12-2008 in all the Federal Ministries/Divisions/ Departments. PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED TO INITIATE THE CASE FOR GRANT BPS-17 TO SUPERINTENDENT (BPS-16)

The approval of Competent Authority i.e. the Secretary of Ministry/Division concerned is required to be solicited for grant of BPS 17 to existing Superintendent (BPS-16) and issuance of notification to this effect in accordance with Rule 6 of Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973 as Secretary of Ministry/Division is competent authority for appointment and promotion in BPS-17 to BPS-19. 

FORMATE OF LETTER AND NOTIFICATION WILL BE UPLOADED SHORTLY.

NO DPC IS REQUIRED FOR GRANT OF BPS-17 TO EXISTING SUPERINTENDENT CLARIFICATION ISSUED BY FINANCE DIVISION
